On May 5th my curious dog, Wags, a black Lab Retriever, decided to take advantage of an open gate and went on an exploration of my neighborhood. Luckily for me, a neighbor just as curious as Wags saw my dog in his yard. On account of his PetLink tags he could see that Wags was chipped and called the 1-800 number to report the dog missing.
I received an email from PetLink stating that someone had found my wandering dog while I did not even know Wags was missing! Moments later my phone rang and it was PetLink helpfully wanting to let me know that my neighbor had my dog. He was so gracious that he even walked Wags back safely and closed the gate. My neighbor was impressed by the microchipping and he even said that he was happy that it was so easy to use!
