I have a very beautiful Australian Shepherd named Tanner. He went missing but, thanks to PetLink and his microchip, was reunited with us very quickly. In fact, a similar incident had happened several months ago. Ironically, both times he ran off, Tanner didn’t have his collar on. I had taken it off him when he was being groomed. I let him out and he’s usually good about staying in the yard but on both occasions he got away wearing no identification. I’m really grateful for Tanner’s microchip and for PetLink’s service. Tanner’s a lovely dog and the people who found him wanted to take him in and care for him. Fortunately, the chip made it clear that he had an owner.
