My Pit Bull, Tank, is chipped through PetLink. On March 3, Tank got out and someone found him. They called PetLink and I was called. I went and picked him up. Then on May 5, Tank got loose again and I was notified by the microchip number on his PetLink tag. When the microchip is entered into the database it then shows animal professionals my name and phone number to enable contact. No one could love this deaf and loving dog as much as I do. My two-year-old granddaughter loves him and he loves her. Between the money for a chip and a little more for an ID tag, it was well worth it.
