My beloved Aussie, Tanner, recently went on an adventure with a collar on that did not have accurate return numbers. Fortunately, a private citizen brought him to a local shelter where he was scanned for a microchip. My accurate number was in the database, and a volunteer at the shelter called me eight hours after he went missing to tell me he was safe in their care. I am very thankful for this additional security in making sure my “other” half doesn’t find a new partner!
