Chica, our Chihuahua, was reunited with us within five hours of going missing. She was able to squeeze through damage in our fence that happened during the last thunderstorm. Chica was wandering around the neighborhood at 7:00 a.m. right after we had left for work when an animal-loving neighbor picked her up. The woman gave Chica food and, especially, water, which is absolutely vital in Phoenix, where we live.
Chica’s rescuer delivered her to the animal hospital and then at 11:30 a.m. that same morning we received a call from PetLink letting us know that Chica had been found and could be picked up at the vet. Chica was doing fine and was happy to see us. Thanks to this caring neighbor and Chica’s PetLink microchip, she was back at home in no time! Thank you, PetLink!
