Our cat, Buttons, didn’t come home on one of the coldest nights of the year. We were searching for her all night and most of the next day. Then, as I was walking by the neighbors’ garage, I heard a meow from inside.
We had been in that garage a dozen times and hadn’t heard a peep from her. But that is where I found Buttons, snuggled in among the laundry!
While she was missing, it helped knowing that if someone had picked up my Buttons, she would be scanned at the local shelter, show up on PetLink’s database and be traced to me at her home.
