My ex boyfriend/baby daddy or one of his friends had neglected Gizmo’s grooming and dumped him off somewhere around the time a hurricane was coming through while I was away. Gizmo was so matted and 2 of his nails had grown INTO his pads on his pack paws.  I am very thankful for microchips and emails because when I got back, PetLink had sent me an email saying Gizmo was found. I am very grateful for the woman who had found him and has been taking care of him while I was away. After I got back, the woman had returned him to me and my mom had helped me with the rest of his grooming and getting his nails out of his pads.
