Jake was a year-old Terrier dropped off at a firehouse on an air force base. There was no pet control on the base so a firefighter brought the dog home with him until he could figure out what to do with the little guy. Jake was starved, beat up and had bruises all over him. He was scared of loud noises and vomited when he ate, since he would eat really fast as if someone was going to take his food away from him. Well, the firefighter brought Jake to his fiancée’s house and that was the end of it. The fiancée is me and I said ‘He is staying’. I am in love with Jake! It took two months to get him eating right and for his bruises to clear up. I have two other dogs who just love Jake who is now neutered and has his shots. I was able to register Jake and my other dogs with PetLink online, simply and easily. Now I feel safer knowing they will always be linked to my information if they are ever lost. Jake will never have to be scared, starving or alone, fending for himself again. He is now part of a family and has found a forever home with us.
