Nani and I go to Walter Reed Medical Center on Wednesdays to help our heroes. Nani, a Shetland Sheepdog, is a registered Therapy Dog International for the United States Military Services. She interacts with servicemen and women who are recovering or waiting for treatment. The center’s motto is ‘United We Heal’ – ‘we’ being canines as much as humans!
As long as Nani has her PetLink microchip, I have no fear. I know that if she does go missing, I won’t lose her because her microchip will help her find me.
