After four days of her being gone, I had pretty much given up on ever seeing Lady Bug again. Then I got a phone call, someone had seen her the day before, and when they saw the poster the next day they called. I was so excited – she was still in my neighborhood! I went out to search again, but she was nowhere to be found. I was on my way back home when I stopped to ask yet another person if he had seen her. HE HAD!
He too had seen her the day before but said she was running down the street toward a nearby highway and he felt certain she crossed the highway. I thought ‘Oh no! She is surely dead.’ I went to that area and started to look for her. Suddenly, there she was, walking in an abandoned parking lot! I have never been so relieved and happy to see her! Thank God, she is back with us and was no worse for wear, although those four nights were cold and stormy. She’s happy to be back home and now we don’t let her out of our sight!
