Pixel is a brilliant cat who does great dog tricks for treats. He gets on so well with humans that he also trusts everyone he meets. Two days ago, some people were repairing a car in front of the end unit in my apartment block. They closed up the apartment and left when the work was done. The renter is living elsewhere now and not using his apartment so it has stood empty for several weeks.
Then Pixel went missing. After searching for two days I thought I’d see if the neighbor was back and, when no one answered, I looked in the window. There was Pixel, sitting on the bed looking at me with the perkiness of a child who’s been lost in the mall and just seen daddy! When I got him out, he heeled all the way home, ran through all of his tricks: sit, stand, high five, shake, turn around, turn back, roll over, bang-bang, stay, heel and ‘give me kiss’. He’s one happy boy and so is daddy! Having Pixel registered with PetLink gave me the peace of mind that if he was far away, there was a chance I’d get him back again.
