Our Maltipoo, Jake, got out of the back yard and did not have his collar on. He was missing overnight, despite our efforts to find him. The next day, I got a call from PetLink notifying me that someone had taken Jake to the shelter. The shelter had scanned him and his microchip details led the trail back to his home with us! PetLink connected me to a representative at the shelter and I was able to confirm Jake was my dog. We had him back within 30 minutes!
We were saved countless extra hours of worry, not to mention time driving around to different shelters in the area. Also, the person who found Jake kindly waited until we were notified, then brought him to us! This saved us from having Jake ‘booked’ into the shelter and from having to pay a lot of money to ‘bail’ him out!
